The Taber Museum has announced the release of a Toy Train Postcard booklet. Featuring twenty-five images of model trains from the Museum’s outstanding collection, the booklet may be kept intact or each postcard can be taken out and mailed.

A ‘Flag of Honor’ has recently been donated to the Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society by Brenda and Barry Rake of Williamsport. Echoing the American flag, the flag was ‘created from the names of those who perished in the terrorist attacks of 9-11.’

The Taber Museum has recently acquired a needlework sampler made by Jane Morison of Pine Creek Township, Lycoming County. The sampler was made in 1826 and reveals a high proficiency in executing various stitches.

George Logue passed away on October 30, 2012. In 2020, his family donated Mr. Logue’s extensive collection of Erector Sets to the Lycoming County Historical Society.
