The Taber Museum hosted Caz Russell speaking on leadership skills which lead to ‘Leaving a Legacy’ at its Coffee Hour on Thursday, September 9, 2021 in its Community Room.
As a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher, Trainer, and Speaker, Caz offers motivational workshops on subjects such as Leadership, Communication, Decision Making, Error Prevention and Creating a New Safety Culture. “Leadership is a Choice” is his theme, and inspiring others to apply John Maxwell’s Laws to their lives is his desire. John Maxwell is the New York Times bestselling author and world-renowned leadership expert.
Caz and his wife Diane reside in Montandon, Pennsylvania. Retiring after 37 years in the electric industry, Caz relates, “I am an avid waterfowler, decoy carver, and amateur dog trainer.” He often uses his dog “Chilli”, a Labrador Retriever, to create Leadership Assemblies which “captivates audiences and leaves them walking away with a picture of the importance of being a leader.” He has recently authored Nuggets: What Training My Dogs Has taught Me About Life and Leadership (2020).
The informative lecture continued a series of fourteen lectures, combining the Thursday morning Coffee Hours with Sunday afternoon Society Programs. The Lecture Series is underwritten by the Woodcock Foundation for the Appreciation of the Arts.
