The Taber Museum hosted a talk on the culture of coffee and coffee tasting at its Coffee Hour on Thursday, June 10, 2021. The event featured delicious coffee as brewed by the Backhouse Café Coffee and Tea.
The lecture was well attended, and the visitors were well fed, while listening to Ron Wright's talk.
The Backhouse is across the street from the museum and is owned and operated by June and Ron Wright, who have proven to be excellent neighbors! Pastries produced by the Backhouse will also be available. The lecture series is sponsored by the Woodcock Foundation for the Appreciation of the Arts.
The lecture continues a series of fourteen lectures, combining the Thursday morning Coffee Hours with Sunday afternoon Society Programs. The entire schedule is not yet in place, but will focus on demonstrations. The programs are free and open to the public, however, social distancing is suggested and the use of face masks is suggested unless the participant is fully vaccinated.
