Participating in this year’s ornament sale were Deb Parsons (lampworked glass), Mickey Mapstone (birds), Catheal Weiser (Ukrainian eggs), Mike Swanger (blown glass), Jackie Thomas (felted ornaments), Sara Kiehl (calligraphy & wood art), Nadine Sapiente (stained glass), Meg Smith (wire and gemstones), Erma Woodis (mini paintings), Mallory Gardner (felted animals) and our featured artist Linda Campbell (ceramics). The sale also featured other creative works including jewelry, sculpture, handbags, pottery, and fiber wearables. Candles made by the Miles Welby a Candle Company were also be available.
The attendees also got a first look at the Taber Museum's holiday exhibit “My Favorite Gift’, which is open now through January 15, 2021.
This fall, the Museum is sought the loan of an item or items from members of the community which had special meaning when received and the story behind it. These items are displayed with lender provided details about its significance, who gave it, why it was given. The details are included in a write-up about the object.
