As a fixture in the Williamsport/Lycoming County community, it is fitting that the Taber Museum periodically open its doors to the local business community. On April 13, 2023, the Museum hosted a PM Exchange with the Chamber of Commerce to highlight the Museum's many features and its role in the community, preserving local history.

Over 120 local representatives of retail, banking, industry, restaurant, and other local businesses participated in the event. Along with food and drink, guests were treated to behind the scenes tours of the Museum's vast storage facilities, and were free to wonder the halls and examine the displays.

The Taber has undertaken a more active effort to solicit support from local business. Business memberships have increased dramatically in recent years to 36, with 14 patrons. Van Campen Motors has provided a grant to support our lecture program and Midstate has been a major supporter of our Bottles & Brews event as well as other social events.

We appreciate our business members and believe that the continued support of business and industry is essential to the future vitality of the Museum in our community.
