The Lycoming County Historical Society held its tenth annual Bottles & Brews Fundraiser on Friday, August 11, 2023. A huge crowd was able to taste a number of local craft beers, wines, teas and coffees and sample the products of several regional and national brew masters. All proceeds from this annual event benefits the Historical
Society and the Taber Museum and all indications show that it was one
of, if not THE most successful Bottles and Brews events to date! We
raisesd $21,920.83.
The Museum raffled off "Buckets of Cheer" and hosted a 50/50 drawing. Many guests walked off with buckets filled with beer, wine, gift cards and other valuable gifts donated by local business.
Totals for the event are not yet compiled, but it appears that this was our most successful event ever. Well over 300 folks attended and had the choice of wines, brews, coffees and teas from 23 vendors. No one went hungry, as the food tables were overflowing thanks to local eateries and many other donors.
