
Meg Geffken is a well known to regular attendees of Taber Museum lectures, for her portrayals of famous women is American history. In the past she has portrayed Betsy Ross, Susan B. Anthony, Reeve Lindbergh, Marilyn Monroe and Beatrix Potter.
On March 22, she visited the Taber as Martha Washington, the first "First Lady". As as always, she gave a fine show, that was very well attended.
Entitled “Meet and Greet the Late and Great,’ the Lecture Series will be held from March through October and will include appearances by Presidents Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and Thomas Jefferson, First Lady Abigail Adams, Freedom Seeker Harriet Tubman, and writer Mark Twain.
The Lecture Series is sponsored in part by the Travel & Tourism Grant administered by the Lycoming County Visitors Bureau and in part by Catherine Burns Insurance Services, Muncy.
