The Taber Museum hosted its annual History Day Camp during the week July 29 - August 2, 2024. The Camp explored Native American culture, colonial settlement, and the American Revolution.

Camp was packed with activities including lectures/demonstrations/reenactments by Tank Baird (Native American culture), Scott Atherton (Native American drumming/flute music), Heather Hibbs (colonial toys and games), Rudy Mummey (history of flags), Meg Geffken (Betsy Ross), Sue Morris (medicinals from plant materials), Joy McCracken (spinning and weaving), and Bob Salaki (apple cider press). Pat Damaska coordinated the efforts of the week along with the help of Ashley Rall, Michaela Peterman, Sue Peters and Glenn Williams. And crafty Pat came up with creating baskets, rain sticks, flags, and sand paintings.

Retired educator Pat Damaska coordinated the camp, along with the assistance from many other volunteers.
