At a recent Coffee Hour on May 9, 2024, Bob Kane spoke on “Blue Decorated Stoneware from Williamsport, Pa.” His talk was illustrated with a PowerPoint presentation. He also brought with him a number of stoneware examples.
Kane is a long time Williamsport historian and collector of Williamsport memorabilia. He is a current Board Member of Preservation Williamsport and Curator of their Rowley House Museum. Bob was the past owner of Keystone Furniture Restoration and previously served as the Lycoming County Historical Society’s Board of Governors’ President, for which he received ‘Volunteer of the Year’. In addition, he served as Past Chairman of the Historic Architecture Review Board of Williamsport for over 20 years.
