Victoria Stetts This year’s holiday exhibit - ‘The Star’ - opened with a membership preview, along with the annual ornament sale, on Friday, December 1st. The ornament sale, featured the incredible work of some of our area’s most talented artists, and continued through the weekend.

Paper ‘magician’ Victoria Stetts was the featured artist this year with origami cranes, kusudama balls and German paper stars. The artists who participated in this year’s sale were Becky Charles, pottery, pine cone Santas; Amanda Emig, who produced Santas, reindeers and snowmen fashioned out of forks; Karen Mothersbaugh, wire trees on wood; Deb Parsons, flameworked glass; Theresa Phillips, painted gourds; Judy Steinhilper, stained glass Moravian stars and fused snowflakes; Victoria Stetts, origami; Mike Swanger, blown glass icicles; and Catheal Weiser, stained glass. The pop-up boutique included glass and sterling silver jewelry, faux fur wearables, quilted items, fused glass trees, Moravian stars and snowflakes, wire tree sculptures, stained glass windows, gourd sculptures, and blown glass vases and pumpkins.

Guests were treated to the beautiful ornaments as well as snacks and the first view of the exhibit.

“The Star” features a number of our quilts, a coverlet, a cradle and other decorative arts which possess the star as a motif. It will remain open through January.
