Williamsport's Kid's First Friday is an annual August event, where all sorts of local organizations gather downtown with fun activities, food and information that is useful to kids. The Taber Museum participated again this year.
Armed with an array of old toys, fossil rubbings and other oddities, Museum Board members Sue Beidler, Marc Pompeo and Gary Weber interacted with curious kids all night. Strangely, some of the toys seemed to attract parents too, as more than one attempted to get the ball in the cup and viewed the stereoscope photos.
The kids were able to walk away with fossil rubbings and a Taber Conductor hat, to add to the many other items offered by the many venders.
