Bottles & Brews IX, a fundraising event for the Taber Museum, took place on Friday, August 12, 2022. Guests tasted a variety of beer, wines, coffee and tea, foods at the 3 hour event, as well as explored the Museum.
About 350 guests attended the event, that featured beer tasting from many breweries, including New Trail, Founders, Sly Fox, Straub, Blakes, Funk, Logyard, North Country, Boston Beer, Oskar Blues, Truly, Angry Orchard, Cigar City, MiddleCoast, Evil Genius, Sierra Nevada and Yuengling, arranged through the cooperative efforts of major partner Mid-State Beverage Company. Local brewers included Bald Birds, Bullfrog Brewery, Boom City, and Therapy Brewing. A number of amateur craft beer brewers of the Billtown Brewers Guild brought their unique brews. Vintners ECM Cellars and Fife and Drum Winery, as well as Nomad Distilling, served wine and spirits. The museum’s neighbor, the Backhouse Café Coffee and Tea and Alabaster Coffee Roaster & Tea provided non alcoholic beverages.

Food for the evening came from Hillside Catering, British Baking Company, Pudgie’s of Williamsport/Montoursville, Frito-Lay, and volunteers from the Museum Board and other members and friends of the LCHS.
‘Buckets of Cheer’ featuring beautifully-crafted handmade wooden buckets were raffled off during the evening, along with jewelry, luggage, gift certificates, a wine rack and other items donated by Kinley’s Jewelry, Moon & Raven Public House, Williamsport Symphony Orchestra, Community Arts Center, Dr. Nancy Ramin, DPM, Old School Pizza, Otto Bookstore, Ozzie & Mae’s Restaurant, Acme Barbecue & Catering Company, Tag’s Family-Style Takeout, Peter Herdic House, Pier 87, Rick Mahonski Goldsmith, Elite Feet, Inc., J’s wineracks & more, World Travel International, Victorian Christmas, AAA North Penn, Franco’s Restaurant, Lounge & Music Club, Sprinkled Sweet - Artisan Bakery & Creamery, Union Dental Health, Rivals Sports Bar, Salon Simone's and Rosko's Brewery.
