After a hiatus that lasted over 2 months, the Taber Museum has reopened! Lycoming County went "green" on June 5, and museums werere permitted to open. We are looking forward to seeing your faces at our door.
As it happens, June 5 was the long scheduled start of our spectacular summer exhibit, "Harley Davidson vs. Indian Wars" in which the Taber will exhibit an extraordinary collection of vintage motorcycles, on loan from a private collection. The timing could not have been better.
Of course, the Museum is taking precautions to keep our visitors and staff safe from the disease that has disrupted all of our lives this spring, We will be operating on regular hours, but with the following rules in place:
PLEASE WEAR A FACE MASK WHILE IN THE BUILDING, TO PROTECT OUR OTHER VISITORS, YOURSELF, AND OUR STAFF.
PLEASE MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING. WE WILL BE LIMITING THE NUMBER OF VISITORS/STAFF IN THE BUILDING, NOT TO EXCEED 25.
FOR THE PRESENT TIME, WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT OPERATE THE HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE BUILDING.
WE WILL BE SANITIZING DOOR HANDLES AND BATHROOMS FREQUENTLY.
PLEASE ENTER BY THE SIDE DOORS AND EXIT BY THE FRONT DOORS.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
