Judith Bower and Rachel Buedel, both of Williamsport, were elected to interim terms on the Board, and will stand for full terms at the April 19, annual membership meeting.

Rachel brings business management and technical skills to the Board. She is currently the Operations Manager at Tebbs Brothers Landscaping and has extensive experience in technology and social media management. She is a 2008 graduate of Warren Wilson College, Ashville, NC with a B.A. in environmental studies and policy.

Judy spent her life in Lycoming County schools as a teacher. From 1989 until her retirement in 2010, she taught in the Williamsport Area School District. She is a graduate of Lock Haven State College with a BS in elementary education. Among her accomplishments is the development of a thematic unit on local history, while at the middle school.

Both ladies have a passion for history and will make superb additions to the board. The Board was delighted to welcome Rachel to its January Board meeting and both ladies to the Board "advance" work session at the end of January.
