The theme of “Made in Pennsylvania” has been chosen as the theme for the 2020 Lecture Series. Combining our Thursday morning Coffee Hours and our Sunday afternoon Society Programs has proven popular with regular attendees as well as new guests to the museum.
The first confirmed lecture is already lined up – Jill Marie Thomas, a direct descendant of the Sturgis Pretzel founder, has written a history of the company. She will not only share the information, but will bring artifacts (and more importantly, SAMPLES!). Her talk will be on Sunday, May 17 at 2:00pm.
Several suggested topics (but not confirmed!) are Crayola Crayons, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Sipe & Sons stoneware, Knoebel’s, and Yuengling Beer!
Should you have an idea for one of the fourteen programs, please call Gar y Parks, the Director, or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
