The old adage ‘One man’s trash is another man’s treasure’ was certainly true at the YesterShoppe! indoor yard sale at the Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society on Saturday, June 4. The Community Room was filled with all kinds of items ready for repurposing, including children’s toys, books, silverplated items, ceramics, Heisey glassware, an Ostrich egg, sporting equipment, and small items of furniture. All sorts of wonderful bargains were found and taken home by their lucky new owners.
YesterShoppe! serves as one of the fundraisers held throughout the year to support the museum and its operations. The sale provided over $910 in much needed funds to the museum
Thanks to all those who donated items for sale and who helped on the day of the sale.
