Guest speaker Lou Hunsinger, Jr., writer and journalist, presented his lecture on “Lycoming County During the Great Rebellion”. Hunsinger is well-known for his extensive writings which explore local history as well as sports history. His articles have appeared in the Webb Weekly, the Sun-Gazette, and the Biographical Encyclopedia of American Sports. He serves as a guide for the Lycoming County Visitors Bureau and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Friends of the James V. Brown Library. Hunsinger possesses a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with minors in History and Journalism.
