The Tumbleweed TrioWilliamsport- The Tumbleweed Trio will appear at the Taber Museum on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 2pm in the Community Room. The Trio will perform America’s cowboy songs, from the 1800s Old West to the twentieth century’s golden age of cowboy movie heroes. The performance is free and open to the public. For this special Taber Museum program, they will also tell some of the “stories behind the songs”.

The Trio is composed of Gary “Doc” Stoner, Richard Rupert and “Miss Alison” Rupert. The three are best friends and band-mates from The MidLife Cowboys Band and The Alison Wonderband. As the Tumbleweed Trio, they sing and play cowboy classics such as “Back in the Saddle Again”, “Don’t Fence Me In”, and “Red River Valley” - with guitars, fiddle, authentic three-part vocal harmony and even a bit of yodeling.

The Taber Museum Is located at 858 West Fourth Street, Williamsport. Ample parking is to be found in the back of the museum or on the street. For further information about the museum, please call us at 570.326.3326.
