
The December Coffee Hour at the Taber Museum will be held on Thursday, December 8 at 10am. It will focus on the history of the L.L. Stearns Department Store, which flourished in downtown Williamsport from 1889 until 1984.

The intriguing life of Henry Shoemaker, folklorist, will be the subject of a lecture by author Guy Graybill at the Taber Museum on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 1pm.

The exhibit, ‘Shopping During the Holidays: The L.L. Stearns Department Store’ will open on December 2 at 7:00 PM (members at 6:00 PM).

The Taber Museum will be featuring "First in Flight" as presented by playwright Robert Hughes, on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at 2pm.

A series of five classes exploring the heritage techniques of hand piecing, hand applique and hand quilting will be offered at the Taber Museum on Saturdays, September 17, 24, October 1, 8, and 15.

The old adage ‘One man’s trash is another man’s treasure’ is certainly true when one visits the YesterShoppe! indoor yard sale at the Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society on Saturday, June 11th, from 8am until 4pm and on Sunday, June 12th, from 1pm until 4pm.

With its usual display of model trains, Native American artifacts, and materials relating to the logging boom of the 19th century, the Taber Museum is offering a unique display for the connoisseur of smell- the Voodoo Lily.

The Taber Museum will be hosting a workshop for children aged 6-12 years old on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 2:00 until 4:00pm. The children will be creating ‘suncatchers’.
