The Taber Museum's 2019 limited edition pin features our most famous resident ghost- Nellie Tallman. Nellie, the daughter of John Tallman, was seated in a high chair, her portrait being painted by father, an artist. Unfortunately she fell out of the high chair in which she was seated, broke her neck and died at the age of 3-1/2 years old. Legend has it that Nellie, being a mischievous child, will not stay on the wall unless her portrait is situated across the room from an artwork by her father’s teacher, the famed Severin Roesen. On the pin, Nellie is holding, what else?, a baseball!
