Acquired in 2008, we are intrigued by this dated stone.
It looks like it might have been underneath the peak of a former home with the intertwined initials (a cypher, of sorts) of a young married couple. It looks like it might have been produced by someone who had access to a compass- perhaps a surveyor. It was found in the Sylvan Dell area by George Strunk and his father; donated by George Strunk’s son Ralph Strunk.
