Our Summer Exhibit features a number of businesses, restaurants, churches and schools which have disappeared from the Lycoming landscape, or perhaps in existence in a modified form, but still remaining in the collective memory of County residents.

Foremost among the display is a tribute to L.L. Stearns Department Store. The Museum has recently acquired the Christmas bell with the little girl swinging on it. So many people remember this! Other businesses highlighted include Sylvania, E. Keeler, C.A. Reed, and Woolrich. Restaurants include the Greystone and Kevin’s Place of South Williamsport. Churches include an architectural model of the original edifice of St Boniface and the cornerstone contents of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in South Williamsport which was recently razed. The exhibit continues through September 1, 2021.
