Matthew DoddWilliamsport- The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society will host a Society Program on Sunday, June 18 at 2pm in its Community Room. Guests to the museum will be entertained by Matthew Dodd. He will present a history of the American Road through musical selections. The program is free and open to the public.

Dodd is no stranger to the museum. His appearance last year was one of the most popular presentations of the season. A native of Mechanicsburg, Dodd dresses in period costume and performs on the guitar, banjo, harmonica, mandolin and concertina. His music will take the audience on a ‘ride’ throughout the United States.

The Society Program continues a series of lectures which focus on communities of Lycoming County and surrounding area. Future talks will focus on Lewis Township, Celestia (in Sullivan County), and the Washington Boulevard Cemetery.

There is ample parking behind the museum and along the street. For further information, please contact the museum at 570.326.3326
