Fords

Williamsport- Early automobiles will be the topic of discussion at the Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 2:00pm. Historians Earl and Valarie Mowrey will lead a discussion entitled The Ford Model ‘T’ and Model ‘A’: The Cars that put America on Wheels. The lecture held in the Community Room of the Museum is free and open to the public.

Earl and Valarie Mowrey and members of the Susquehannock Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) will reflect on these early Fords and the part they played in the technological advancements, culture, and the revolution in global transportation. Joining in the discussion will be Bob Whitmoyer and other members of the West Branch A’s Region of the Model ‘A’ Restorers Club (MARC). A display of the Fords will appear on the Museum grounds and street.
