Williamsport- The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society will be hosting Cheyenne Bastian-Brown on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 2pm. The lecture, held in the Community Room of the museum is free and open to the public. The program is sponsored by Catherine Burns Insurance Agency, Muncy.
Entitled ‘Honeybees – Angels of Agriculture with the American Honey Queen’, the talk will be presented by 2025 American Honey Queen Cheyenne Bastian-Brown. She will teach attendees about the inner workings of the beehive, beekeeping in the United States, and how the honeybee pollination keeps our plates bountiful. Experience how this wondrous insect and its caretakers affect many aspects of our world!
Cheyenne is the daughter of Cory and Jennifer Brown of Ralston, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where she majored in Agricultural and Extension Education. At school, Cheyenne was an active member of multiple organizations and served in various leadership roles. As the 2025 American Honey Queen, Cheyenne is a national spokesperson for the American Beekeeping Federation, a trade organization representing beekeepers and honey producers throughout the United States. The American Honey Queen and Princess speak and promote in venues nationwide, and Queen Cheyenne has travelled extensively nationwide on behalf of the organization, having served previously as the Pennsylvania Honey Queen in 2024.
