Law and Justice in Lycoming County – The Lawyers and Judges Who Make it WorkThe Thomas T. Taber Museum will be a host site for a summer exhibit which will explore Law and Justice in Lycoming County – The Lawyers and Judges Who Make it Work, in association with the Lycoming Law Association. The exhibit will be featured in the Community Room of the Taber Museum from June 10 through the end of August 2025.

Curating the exhibit will be Clifford Rieders, Esquire, on behalf of the Law Association. The presentation at the Museum includes large photographs pertinent to the practice of law and justice in Lycoming County, together with significant historical events portrayed in the photographs. As well, a sampling of law office items and continuously-playing videos will also be featured.

Accompanying the exhibit will be a series of lectures featuring attorneys, Judges, educators and Senator Gene Yaw. Slated to appear are Judges Nancy Butts, Matthew Brann, William Carlucci, Skip Arbuckle, and Kenneth Brown, President Judge Anne Lazarus, Chief Justice Debra Todd, Clifford Rieders, Jack Humphrey, Sue Alberti and Susan Achury Plaza. According to Rieders there is also an invitation out to Commonwealth Court President Judge Renee Cohn Jubilirer.

Rieders remarks: “I am extremely impressed that so many judges and others have agreed to participate in this important program. In school, kids learn a lot about a variety of subjects but, from my experience speaking in schools, very few of our citizens and students have a good understanding of how the legal system works. That is our fault as lawyers and judges. One of the major purposes of this program is to inform, educate, and perhaps even entertain.”
