stonewareWilliamsport- The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society will host Bob Kane at its Coffee Hour on Thursday, May 9, at 10am in its Community Room. Kane will be speaking on “Blue Decorated Stoneware from Williamsport, Pa.” His talk will be illustrated with a power point presentation as well as a number of stoneware examples.

Kane is a long time Williamsport historian and collector of Williamsport memorabilia. He is a current Board Member of Preservation Williamsport and Curator of their Rowley House Museum. Bob was the past owner of Keystone Furniture Restoration and previously served as the Lycoming County Historical Society’s Board of Governors’ President, for which he received ‘Volunteer of the Year’. In addition, he served as Past Chairman of the Historic Architecture Review Board of Williamsport for over 20 years.
