Bottles & Brews III

BBIII

The Lycoming County Historical Society announces its third annual Bottles & Brews Fundraiser!  The event is scheduled for Friday, August 7 from 7pm until 10pm at the Taber Museum.

Bottles & Brews III is an opportunity for folks to sample the wares of local amateur and professional brewers, vintners and distillers.  A delightful selection of catered cuisine, raffles and prizes galore will add to the festivities.  As an added attraction, special displays of brewing and distilling memorabilia and an exhibit of posters from World War II will be highlighted in our Community Room.

For the third consecutive year, members of the Billtown Brewers Guild will prepare an array of their best homemade beers, and Bastress Mountain Winery/Mountain Top Distillery will join us with their delicious wines and moonshines!  Amateur vintners from ECM Cellars and Fyfe and Drum Wines will present their finest selections as will local mainstays like the Bullfrog Brewery, Riepstine’s Pub and Abbey Wright Brewing.  Mid-State Beverage Co. has arranged for several major brewers to participate in the fun including Oskar Blues Brewery from Colorado, Boston’s Samuel Adams, and Pennsylvania favorites D. G. Yuengling & Son, Straub Brewery, and Neshaminy Creek Brewery.

There are limited tickets to this event.  Admission fee is $35 per person for non members and $30 for Historical Society members.  To receive your membership discount, you must purchase your tickets before August 1.  Tickets will be available at the door the night of the event but advance purchase is suggested as tickets are limited. Tickets can be purchased at the front desk of the Taber Museum or from any current board member. Tickets can also be purchased through Paypal by following the link below!
